Dr. Meghan Chatwin

ER, Family Medicine, Obstetrics

I was born in Morden and grew up in Roland and Carman.  I moved into Winnipeg after high school to go to the University of Winnipeg where I got my bachelor of Science degree.  I then took a couple years off of school and did some traveling in central America and worked a bunch of random jobs to fund this traveling! After that it was time to go back to school to become a doctor which had been my dream all along.  I graduated from medical school from the University of Manitoba and then completed my residency training at the University of British Columbia through the program based in Chilliwack.

Why Morden

During medical school I did my family medicine rotation at the Menzies Medical Centre.  This was where I realized family medicine was the best specialty of medicine and that Morden was a great place to practice!  I loved the variety that rural family medicine provides and Morden/Boundary Trails has such a supportive group of staff and colleagues.  My practice includes obstetrics and hospital based medicine.  Morden is a beautiful town and it is good to be close to home and family.
