Lindsay Hainsworth

Mental Health Worker

Lindsay Hainsworth was born and raised in a small rural community in Southern Manitoba. Following graduation her desires to enter the healthcare profession lead her to the Psychiatric Nursing program at Brandon University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing. She is now a member of the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba.

Her career has involved work in adult inpatient psychiatry in Saskatchewan and Manitoba along with providing mental health services in Emergency and in the Community Mental Health program in Southern Health-Santé Sud.

The expansion of mental health services to allow quicker access to services in primary care settings is very exciting and Lindsay is thrilled to be a part of the new Shared Care Counselor position at Morden Menzies Centre.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Hobbies include camping, golfing and baseball in the summer, and hunting and hockey in the fall/winter.
