Brent Gouthro

Nurse Practitioner

Brent Gouthro was born in West Germany into a Canadian air force family, spending the majority of his childhood in Manitoba. He attended the University of Manitoba for both his Bachelor of Arts and Nursing Degree. In 2008, he obtained his Masters in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner All Ages Specialty at the Athabasca University. He has worked in a variety of nursing areas and brings a wealth of experience back to Menzies Medical Centre. He lives on a small acreage south of Morden and is married with 3 children and currently one grandchild. He loves small scale agriculture from gardening, tapping maple trees, beekeeping, to raising chickens and turkeys. He believes strongly in maintaining an active lifestyle throughout your life. Still loves hockey, tobogganing, and cross country skiing every winter. Rides his mountain bike often, prefers to be canoeing on a distant lake and embraces life.

You still have the small town feel with big city amenities near by. The rural setting allows for outdoor pursuits like walking, biking, cross country skiing, and hobby farming. The town has a fabulous lake for boating, fishing, swimming and skating in winter. The clinic staff is supportive and nurturing making your work here an enjoyable experience.
